Muzaffargarh: Resilient Education and Budgeting

With the Social Youth Council of Patriots (SYCOP), PCE hosted a one-day workshop delivered by Nouman Alam (Program Officer, PCE). It drew an unusually practical mix of participants — Area Education Officers, teachers, PAGE members, and civil society representatives from seven districts — precisely the people who make and spend education budgets on the ground.

Together they explored how to fortify Punjab's education sector against a run of disasters, and, crucially, how to budget and allocate resources at both district and provincial levels so that resilience is planned and funded rather than improvised after the fact.
