Sukkur: Effects of Climate Change on Our Education System

With NARI and the HWA Foundation, PCE held a capacity-building session in Sukkur, conducted by Ayman Babar (Program Coordinator, Advocacy & Research, PCE), on how climate change is reshaping education. Participants confronted the evidence close to home, the flood damage to school infrastructure across the region, and the alarming rise in dropouts that followed in its wake.

From there, the session turned to what members could actually do. They developed their own interventions to advocate for a more resilient education system in their communities, a clear sign of the commitment and readiness of PAGE members to meet the climate-related disasters now shaping education in Pakistan.
