Developed through grassroots consultation and endorsed by a coalition of education experts, civil society organisations, youth, and academics, the Charter of Education sets out a clear set of reform demands. It calls for safe education institutions, stronger teacher training, an end to multi-grade single-classroom schooling, and a curriculum that prioritises critical thinking, TVET, 21st-century skills, and a culture of tolerance and lifelong learning. Launched at PCE’s 14th Annual Convention and carried into all-party roundtables under the Vote for Safe Education campaign, the Charter urges political parties to declare an education emergency and honour Article 25-A.
