Global Action Week for Education 2023: Achievements & Reflections

To mark Global Action Week for Education 2023, PCE ran a nationwide campaign across 12 districts on the theme of ‘Decolonizing Education Financing.’ This report documents the campaign’s reach, activities, and impact: over 200 education-sector stakeholders engaged directly—from local government and education departments to PAGE members, parents, teachers, and persons with disabilities—and millions reached indirectly through public banners outside schools, courts, and markets. It also captures grassroots demands for reform that fed directly into PCE’s Vote for Safe Education campaign.
